My book club has chosen your book, The Spirit of Sweetgrass, as their book to discuss in March 2010. We have 11 members and meet once a month. I am in charge of your book, I recommended it and others agreed. I loved it and wondered if you might want to add naything I coudl share with the group that night. I have always had a special fondness for low country stories, Essie Mae is not one of my special characters.

Just finshed reading Trouble the Water, and loved it. Made me want to meet Duchess, Alice and Honor, and see where they lived. Wonderful story, thanks for giving me such reading pleasure. Also a fan of some of your favorites, just read Pat Conroys South of Broad, blew me away, wonderful. Looking forward to your others also. You have been added to my favorites list. I'm an avid reader, since early teens. Now use the library cause my house can't hold any more books and I am retired and can't buy like I used to. But the library is great I can get anything I want.
