Just read "Trouble the Water" and absolutely loved it!!! Looked
thru your photo gallery and am wondering if the Duchess was modeled
after Ms.Lee from a photo dated May 2008, as that is how I pictured
her, only Ms. Lee is shorter than I imagined Duchess? I loved, loved,
loved your book, and will go find the first one, and excitedly anticipate
the release of your next. Thank you so much for sharing this story.
As the author, was it as heart-wrenching to write as it was to read?
I could not put this book down. There were times I wanted to pull the
men out of the story and smack them -- hard! I finished the book a few
days ago, and am still lost in the story, pondering the questions from
the group discussions. Thank you for including them. Lastly, I wanted
you to know how I chose Trouble the Water. First, it was the cover art
(great painting!) then, I opened to the prologue, and found John 5:4
