Nicole - Just finished a wonderful conversation with your husband Brian! We started with framing issues move to future real estate developments in the Lowcountry and then - WRITING and GRAPHIC DESIGN. He told me about your book launch - readings etc. CONGRATULATIONS. I am a REALTOR in Charleston and I am planning a promotional campaign to my compatriots in Canada... The objective is to raise awareness of Charleston, SC as a southern second home destination ... Candadians are very familiar with Myrtle Beach but less so about the Holy City. I am planning to run an add but I want to submit a "mat" story (I believe this is the PR terminology) about a Nova Scotian (me) who has made Charleston her home... the intent being to reach folks I know and showcase the beauty of living in Charleston. Nicole - I realize that your schedule is stacked but felt if time wouldn't permit you might be in a position to recommend a colleague?

Thanks for taking the time to read this message... I am going to try and make one of your readings... Brian mentioned a scheduled event at Gullah Cuisine? I will search your site for dates/times.

Dear Elizabeth,

You "pre-ordered" the book in January. Thank you so much! The book has not been released yet. I'm expecting it to be launched in a few weeks. My publisher (Thomas Nelson) tells me it will be "in stores" by March 6. Originally, it was Feb. 20, so I understand how frustrating this is for you. I'm waiting too! Can't wait to hold it in my hands--finally.

I certainly hope you enjoy The Spirit of Sweetgrass. Writing it has been a blessing in my life, and I hope it will be in yours as well. Please drop me a note when you get it!
