I hope you and your family have had a wonderful Christmas and had lots of opportunitites to visit family. I know it was great having Lisa and Mike in the area.
I wanted to check with you about a print of your art work that is on the cover of Sweetgrass.(Wading in the water) Is one still available?

Hey Ms. Nicole, this is Taylor (carla's daughter). I just wanted to let you know that I absolutely loved your book. I recently finished it and now my mom is currently reading it. I cried, laughed, and was on the edge of my seat a few times. I would highly recommend this book to everybody. I can't wait to read your next book. Thanks again for such a great novel.

I am trying to see if you have any information or resources that you could direct me to, pertaining to the Gullah/Geechee people of Daufuskie Island. I am a student at Spelman College, and am doing research for Dr. Andrea Barnwell-curator of the Spelman College Museum, on this subject matter.

Hi Nicole. I am leading a book club down in Jacksonville, Fl. A couple of months ago we read one of Denise Hildreth's books and she telephone conferenced into the meeting. She recommended your book, The Spirit of Sweetgrass and said you might be available to conference with us as well. Our next meeting is January 3rd at 7pm.
